Alaska Land & Sea
(Bears, Eagles, Glaciers, and More)

July 20-27, 2025 (4 spaces left)

Embark on an unforgettable photo tour and workshop through wild Alaska by land and sea. Alaska is perfect for wildlife and landscape photographers. This tour captures bears, glaciers, mountains, eagles, whales, sea lions, seals, sea otters, puffins, and more. This tour offers four separate boat excursions, all on smaller vessels that allow for close encounters with wildlife. Unlike larger boats, these smaller ones can access secluded coves inaccessible to larger vessels due to their size limitations. This is a dream trip for bald eagle lovers as we usually have over 100 sightings and several full-frame opportunities.

New for 2025: We will travel by boat and spend an entire day at Lake Clark, where you'll have the unique opportunity to photograph bears in their natural habitat.

Day 2: We will photograph our way to our next location: Homer, Alaska. Along the journey, we will visit several stunning spots for moose, bald eagles, and other wildlife.

Day 3: We will spend the day aboard a small boat visiting remarkable locations for landscape and wildlife photography. Opportunities abound to photograph large groups of sea otters, whales, puffins, eagles, and other wildlife. Capture full-frame eagles in flight, and perched on scenic trees and sea cliffs. There is an abundance of full-frame eagle opportunities on this trip.

Day 4: We will board a private chartered boat to Lake Clark National Park where we will photograph mostly bears and any other wildlife we encounter.

Day 5: Check out of the hotel and drive to Seward, enjoying several scenic stops along the way.

Day 6: Embark on a boat excursion to explore Kenai Fjords National Park. The full-day ride will feature breathtaking views of glaciers, seabird colonies, sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, sea otters, and multiple whales. Lunch provided on board, with dinner options available upon return.
