Cancellation and Refund Policy

Thank you for your interest in Slonina Photography Tours. We deeply value our customers and continuously strive to enhance our services to ensure your satisfaction. In the event of a cancellation, please note our cancellation policy outlined below:

Cancellation 180 days or more prior to the trip start date:

A full refund will be issued, deducting a $300 processing fee.

Processing Fee:
We now have a $300 processing fee because the banks charge a processing fee for each credit card payment we receive. If we provide a refund we lose that amount. We also have to refill that spot by advertising through social media, website changes, and ads. It is very time consuming and can possibly cost us even more money.

Cancellation between 120 and 180 days prior to the trip start date:

We will retain your deposit but we will return any additional money that you have paid.

Cancellation less than 120 days prior to the trip start date:
There is no refund.

Photo tours require an enormous amount of work, advertising and prepaying expenses that are not refundable which occurs long before the start date of the trip. It is really difficult to fill a spot within a few months of the start date of the trip. We have a waitlist but the closer we get to the trip it becomes more difficult to fill the spot. Please get trip insurance to protect yourself.

Slonina Photography will not assume liability for alterations in workshop schedules or cancellations resulting from unforeseeable circumstances such as acts of nature, terrorism, accidents, theft, delays, adverse weather conditions, global or local pandemics, or any other events beyond reasonable control. In the event of such occurrences, Slonina Photography will be unable to offer credits or refunds. We highly recommend purchasing insurance to safeguard against these potential situations. Please feel free to visit insuremytrip.com as a reference for travel insurance. Obtaining multiple insurance quotes for your trip is very easy and you will receive six different quotes for comparison.

Slonina Photography cannot be held accountable for weather conditions that impede photography activities. No refunds or credits, either in full or in part, will be issued in such instances.

Refunds will not be granted in the event of travel delays or flight cancellations. Customers are advised to pursue compensation through their respective insurance providers.

If you possess a medical condition or allergy necessitating the use of insulin, epinephrine pens, or other medical equipment or monitoring, kindly inform your instructors prior to the workshop commencement.

Physical Fitness Guidelines

Participants must be responsible for carrying their own equipment throughout the duration of the workshop.

It is important for participants to be in good overall health and possess the physical fitness necessary to transport all of their equipment, which may involve hikes of up to 2 miles.

Participation in photo workshops necessitates being in generally good health. If there are any health concerns, participants are advised to seek guidance from their physician beforehand.
